Model Description:
The Fuzion is designed for high-performance small-wave surfing. We've "fused" aspects of our grovel boards with our performance shortboards to create a board that will move through flat sections, yet respond when a steep section appears. A relaxed entry rocker allows for increased paddle-ability and speed creation, while a slight single concave and tail rocker allows the board to retain responsiveness. The outline is fuller than our shortboards but less so than our grovellers. It has a wider hip region for speed retention, while the tail is pulled into a tight swallow for bite and drive. The Fuzion is a must-have for the 'QS warrior and hometown summer shredder.
Whereas we recommend riding a fish 6 to 8 inches shorter than your shortboard, we recommend you ride the Fuzion 2 to 4 inches shorter.
